At Sungold Flower Co. we believe that gorgeous wedding florals should be within reach, no matter what. For this reason, we offer three levels of service to suit your celebration and your budget. 


Full Service: 

Our full service couples value local, seasonal blooms and want them to be a unique and dramatic element of their celebration. We work closely with you to achieve your vision and grow specific varieties of flowers with you in mind. We forage and source from other local growers to complete the look. If a certain flower is special to you, we will do our best to get our hands on it. Full service weddings usually include wedding party personals, ceremony/altar decor, cocktail hour and reception pieces, as well as larger-scale custom installations.

In choosing full service, you also receive access to a large collection of unique vessels, and other decorative items such as ceremony arches, chuppahs, and authentic antique props. On your big day, one of us will be there to deliver and set up, taking care of each special detail. We LOVE the personal connections we make while doing these events.

The process begins with a complimentary, in-person consultation with Anna and Caitlin, typically here in our Rocklands Farm workshop. We will discuss palette, vibe and vision and after this meeting, we provide you with an itemized proposal and estimate. If you decide that you'd like to work with us, a signed contract and deposit will hold your date. From there, we will continue the conversation, working out all the details at the pace you choose. A good rule of thumb is to budget 10% of your total wedding budget on your floral decor. Full service events begin at $4000 and are typically booked 6-12 months in advance.

A La Carte Personals & Tabletop:

Let us lighten the labor of celebrating your love. We've taken the guess work out of event florals and have compiled a collection of the tried and true pieces (at set prices) that we know will work for you. Plus, its a great way to stay within budget and still get amazing, one-of-a-kind arrangements, sourced locally and responsibly. 30 minute consultations (in-person or via phone) are available to help you figure out exactly what to order. We'd love the chance to connect with you. Here's how it works:

  1. Choose the tone of your arrangements. We find that most people's floral preferences fall into one of 4 categories: neutral, pastel/muted, bright/vibrant, or bold/dramatic. And please tell us if there is a color you don't care for or if you have a favorite that you'd love to see included! We absolutely take these requests into consideration when choosing exact palette and specific flowers.*

  2. Choose the pieces you need. Bridal party, ceremony, reception, etc.  (Full list below.)

  3. Choose the details. This includes ribbon on bouquets and vessels for centerpieces (glass, mercury glass, wood, ceramic, and metallic options).

  4. Choose your pick-up/delivery date and time. Pick-up at Rocklands Farm on the day of your event between 9am and 1pm (complimentary) or we can deliver (for a charge). Delivery in the Poolesville area is free. Set up services are available if needed and everything is yours to keep.

*Please note that because of the seasonal nature of what we do, we cannot guarantee specific flowers and colors. What we CAN guarantee is that your arrangements will contain the very best of what is in bloom that week, in an overall palette that will complement the rest of your celebration. We truly believe that the greatest benefit of working with a farmer-florist is that each piece is a unique collaboration between us and Mother Nature.

Large Centerpiece - Perfectly sized for 72” and 66” round tables and 8’ farm tables, also beautiful next to the guestbook or at the bar or dessert display $95

Medium Centerpiece - Perfectly sized for 60” and 54” round tables and 5’ or 6’ farm tables, works well just about anywhere you'd like an extra floral touch $75

Petite Centerpiece - Great for cocktail tables or to brighten up the restrooms $50

Trio of vintage bottles - For cocktail tables or down the length of a farmhouse table $50

Garland - Choose greenery with or without flowers and drape over an arch, mantle, or run down the length of your tables $20/foot to $28/foot, depending on amount of flowers.

Feature Arrangement - Make an impact at the entry, the altar, or the escort table $195

Spray for Ceremony Arch - Floral piece that can be secured at the top or off-center on your ceremony arch/arbor (set up required) $250

A la carte couples typically spend between $1500 and $3500 and should plan to book 3-12 months in advance, although bookings made at least 30 days in advance are often able to be accommodated. 50% of the total is due upon ordering, with the remaining balance due 1 month before your wedding. DIY Bulk Flowers:

We also offer bulk flower sales for couples choosing to DIY their wedding florals. This option is typically only available from May-September, during our peak growing season. DIY buckets are grower's choice and include feature flowers, filler flowers, and foliage in a beautiful variety of colors. We basically give you the blooms we would choose if we were getting married that day! Many couples combine A La Carte items with DIY buckets.
